So many good ideas…why can’t I write them down!?

Well I read all the way through Before the Dawn (which I’ll review later) and enjoyed it immensely. However it stirred in me an itch that is really difficult to scratch. And that itch is having multitudes of ideas competing for my attention.

These ideas are naturally running the gamut from awful to awesome but it can be quite difficult to get them down and separated let alone coherent.

The main issue is that writing episodes takes a long time especially when one has to write them out long hand first as is a necessity at the moment. I work long days and during slow times I tend to do jigsaw puzzles and other mind numbing things.

Oh yeah…separating ideas. I tried to avoid writing on that problem but here we go

Okay…let’s hit ignition!

Well that last post sure seemed right at the time and yes I will undoubtedly be writing much more Maximum eventually. I have found myself working on getting a spine together if you will for the first few seasons of Maximum.

Just like one of my fave SF shows the brilliant Babylon 5 I don’t want to continue working on individual episodes until I have the spine or backbone of the series figured out to my satisfaction. So it could be a number of months before I continue working on the next episode itself.

However do not fear I will be updating the site much more regularly with a myriad of information about what’s coming in Maximum and my thoughts on the original Dark Angel.

EXT. SNOWY RIVERBANK- DAY

She sits up.

Looking around slowly almost as if she’s unable to wake up. Shaking her head slowly she leans forward and throws up, her puke splashing into the snow.

We see things through her eyes a kind of washed out almost ethereal world. And we realize as does she that this isn’t the first time she’s thrown up, let alone woken up. She brings her hands in front of her face as we see bone sticking out of the palm of her hand.

It is NOT her bone. And it confuses her. She doesn’t know who she is right now but we do, we’ll name her Max.

What’s going on?

Her voice is a rasp, dry, like a plant in need of watering.

She forces herself up.

Eyes Only.

Old Episode 6….New Episode 6

As you can imagine loosing a laptop full of important files not the lest of which were tons of family video and pictures sucked. It also took the wind out of my sails with a number of high profile opportunities. Not the least of which was blogging for the Sci-Fi…now SyFy Network. However the thing that disgusted me the most was being unable to get Episode 6 out the door.

Episode 6 was 98 percent complete when my laptop was stolen and it was a very good conclusion and continuation from Whites’ Christmas. This has left me vexed on just how to continue working on Season One of Maximum, and I believe I have stumbled onto a workable solution.

A quick but important update…from Col. Lydecker

Needless to say we’ve had to drop WAY below the radar here. This continues to be the case however you can rest assured that we’re always going to be on the case.

No one’s dead around here until I say so.

And no one’s gonna be dead around here anytime soon.

Mind Games almost done…have been driven mad.

Yes it’s true Mind Games…AKA Episode Six is finally about done.

Good thing too since I’m about to go on the road starting the Monday after Next.

And I don’t know when I’ll next get to work on things.

HOWEVER….even if I don’t get online I will be writing the episodes long hand and typing them up whenever possible.

I already said Dark Angel: Maximum would NEVER be canceled. And I Meant it.

So no matter how silent it goes it WILL be back.

And Episode 7 Will be worth the wait.

Mind Games will be up by Wednesday at the latest.

Life is busy and very chaotic at the moment but work still continues on Dark Angel Maximum.

Later this month I will be hitting the road for an extended period of time so updates will be sporadic at best. I can promise though that I will continue writing episodes and when I have a connection I will update the blog with new content.

Thanks so much for your support and helpful and kind comments they are very much appreciated.

I plan to bang out Episode 6: Mind Games by tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

So hold on and even if updates are few and far between always remember they are coming.

No matter what times I fall on Dark Angel Maximum will NEVER be cancelled.
